Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information that the :DP HealthNow Mobile App (the “App”) receives from you and thereafter stores in the company’s database, including but not limited to information relating to your past use of “the App” products and services. “Personal information” is information about you such as your name, street address, email address, telephone number, and such other similar information that is received from you by “the App”. Please read this entire Privacy Policy before using or submitting information to “the App”. By submitting information on “the App”, you acknowledge that you understand and consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of individuals or companies that “the App” does not own or control or to individuals or other business entities that “the App” does not employ and manage. Although “the App” requires “the App” affiliates and publishers to adhere to good business practices as a condition of their doing business with “the App”, “the App” does not own or control such affiliates and publishers, and as such, “the App” is not responsible for the information use and/or information gathering practices of any affiliate or publisher. Affiliates and publishers are not employees or agents of “the App”, and the user should understand that affiliates and publishers may collect personal information from or about users in manners and/or for purposes that are not consistent with “the App” Privacy Policy. The collection, use, and disclosure of information by affiliates and publishers are subject to their own respective privacy policies, which may materially differ both in form and substance from “the App” Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

“The App” collects personal information when you register with “the App”, when you use “the App” products or services, when you visit “the App” pages or the pages of certain “the App” advertisers, affiliates or publishers, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. “The App” may also combine information about you that we have with information that we obtain from advertisers or other companies.

When you register, we have access to information through your existing membership such as your name, street address, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation and/or industry. Once you register with “the App” and sign into our services, you are not anonymous to us.

“The App” also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your web log files, cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels and similar technologies, browser, including your IP address, and the page you request. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by an Internet User’s browser on the Internet User’s hard drive. Additionally, when you visit our Sites from a desktop computer, tablet or mobile device, we may collect certain information about your device such as browser type and version, IP address, location information and device identifier.

 

“The App” uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our customer services, contact you, conduct research, and to provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

How We Share Information

“The App” does not rent, sell, or share personal identifying information about you with nonaffiliated individuals or companies except 1) where it is necessary to provide the information to acquire the products or services that you’ve requested and where we have your permission to do so; or 2) under the following circumstances: (a) we provide the information to nonaffiliated individuals or companies under confidentiality agreements for the purpose of allowing them to use your personal information to help “the App” communicate with you or others about offers from “the App” and/or our marketing partners, however, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information or to use this information for any purpose not consistent with the limited use identified in the foregoing sentence, or (b) we provide the information to nonaffiliated individuals or companies under confidentiality agreements for the purpose of allowing them to use your personal information to assist “the App” in understanding user behavior to better tailor our product offerings; or 3) we also share your personal identifying information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, and/or to establish and/or exercise our legal rights and/or to defend against legal claims, and we will also share your information at such times and under such circumstances that we determine, in our sole discretion, that it is necessary to share the information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the “the App” Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law; or 4) we will transfer information about you if “the App” is acquired by or merged with another company, and in this event, “the App” will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Additionally, “the App” displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet their targeting criteria – for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area. “The App” does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad, you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad. “the App” advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend it from time to time and if we change it materially, we will post a revised version on the Sites. Please check back periodically, and especially before you provide any personally identifiable information to us.
